Fruit of the Spirit Bible Study

Tuesday Evenings at 7:15PM

On Tuesday evenings during the months of September and October we will be working with a study made by the Cabinet of the Wisconsin Annual Conference called “Making Fruit.” The theme of the Wisconsin Annual Conference is called “Live the Fruit of the Spirit” and that will be our focus together. We had ten folks at our first meeting...let's build on that! How can we produce the Fruit of the Spirit in our congregations? I hope you will join us. There are no materials to purchase. Just bring your Bible each week!

"Adventures in Prayer"

October 25th & 26th

Trinity UMC in Lomira

Trinity UMC in Lomira invites all the people of Circuit #24 to an “Adventure of Prayer.” The dates are Saturday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, Oct. 26 from Noon to 2:00 pm. Our special speaker for the “weekend” will be Rev. Dr. Karl Goodfellow from Dubuque, Iowa, a retired UM pastor who served many years in Wisconsin and now has a special prayer ministry. Can you see yourself having a closer prayer connection to the Father of us all?  Would you like to explore prayer ideas from someone who has had lots of different prayer experiences over the years, and has even done doctoral research on prayer?
Come and join us for this special time of growing our prayer lives. We’ll be taking a free will offering to cover Rev. Goodfellow’s expenses.  And you’ll be home for several hours before the Packers kick off at 7:30 pm!

The Sacrament of Holy Communion

Sundays in October

Over the three Sundays that remain in October, the focus of our worship services will be on the sacrament of Holy Communion. We will explore the significance of Holy Communion as a remembrance, a means of grace, a sacrifice, and a representation of the Kingdom of God!
