Ash Wednesday Worship Service

Wednesday, February 18th

7:00pm at Tabor UMC

Our Lenten journey begins on Ash Wednesday. The forty days of Lent (not counting Sundays) are meant to serve as a time of spiritual preparation for Easter. In the early church, these final 40 days were meant for the intense preparation for the sacrament of baptism.

Join us worship on Ash Wednesday as reflect on a reading from Gospel of Mark, in preparation for our Wednesday evening Lenten services. There will also be an imposition of ashes for those who would like to participate, which serves to remind us of our sinfulness and brokenness, and also serves to remind us of our redemption in Christ.
